38. Emily Wobker Homeschools Six Children

July 20, 2021

If you've ever wanted an alternative to life's prescribed choices, this episode is for you. Before she decided to be with her kids full time, Emily Wobker was a beloved high school teacher at a very demanding school, and she taught a class that a lot of schools don’t even offer—but they really should. She taught World War II and Holocaust, as well as many religion classes.

Starting in 2020, Emily and her family took a big leap–now they are homeschooling. They get an incredible amount of academic work done in a short period of time, the kids love to read outside of school, and they prefer playing outside and with each other over electronics.  How did they do it? Find out!
